• Use the site for anything unlawful, or use share links to distribute offensive or harmful content.

3. Names you choose

Names are suggestions only and you are free to use any name you pick for your own pet. We do not claim any rights over the names themselves. Some names may also be trademarks, characters or brand names owned by others; if you plan to use a name commercially, for example for a breeding kennel or a business, it is your responsibility to check that you are allowed to.

4. Meanings and Name Check

Meanings, origins and Name Check results are provided for general interest and guidance. We work to keep them accurate, but we do not guarantee that every meaning is complete or correct, and Name Check is not a substitute for advice from a professional trainer or veterinarian.

5. Intellectual property

The site's design, logo, code, curated name library, descriptions and audio are owned by PetNameMaker or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Apart from the personal use described above, you may not reproduce them without our written permission.

6. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice. Because favorites are stored in your own browser, we are not responsible for shortlists lost when browser data is cleared.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability
